After a year rich in experiences, trainings, workshops, events and more, it’s now time to start concocting the agenda for the coming months… and it’s already looking crowded!
Palestine Youth

Media, Employment and Youth Policy are priority areas for developing capacity building sessions and participants also addressed the question of National Youth Strategy in Palestine (2017-2022). Palestine's Higher Council for Youth and Sport will soon conduct strategic consultation workshops and focus groups, and the NET-MED working group will be supporting the development of the National Strategy and actively engaged in the workshops.

The Working Group also discussed its future contribution to the “This week in Palestine” magazine, a unique editorial that covers cultural, social and political issues in Palestine. This month’s edition – “Our better Half” -, is dedicated to Palestinian women and has received support from UN Women and UNESCO within the context of NET-MED Youth .

As it does every year, NET-MED Youth will participate in the World Press Freedom Day on the 2 – 4 May 2016. This year’s theme - Access to information and fundamental freedoms: this is Your Right! – is particularly inspirational for youth, and the Gaza Working group is preparing an exciting agenda, which we will have a short glimpse of soon.
