Launch event of the platform.
Jamaity, a member association of NET-MED Youth in Tunisia, launches "Jeun'Experts" (Young Experts).
"Jeun'Experts" is an interactive online directory listing the video profiles of hundreds of young women and men experts aged 25 to 39 years of age, and holding expertise of at least three years in the fields of economics, politics, society, culture and media. This platform is also scalable to collect new entries of experts in Arabic and French, and open access.
This open access database aims to promote young people's participation in public debate and to promote a plural, fair and objective treatment of youth issues in the media and in the public sphere.
This project aims to fulfill four objectives:
1. Promote the commitment, contributions and opinions of young people in the media, on political, economic, scientific, cultural and social issues.
2. Value youth skills via a customized digital format accessible to all.
3. Facilitate the networking of professional actors (National Institutions, Cooperation Agencies, Civil Society Organizations, Local Authorities) working with and for youth, to enable them to have a choice among hundreds of profiles of young professionals and Tunisian experts according to skills and expertise sought for interventions and press interviews.
4. Contribute to the development of collaborative uses of digital platforms in Tunisia.
